HiPTV uses libraries from the FFmpeg project (FFmpeg 6.0.2, audio decoders only, built as the AndroidX Media3 FFmpeg extension 1.5.1) and LibVLC 3.6.5 (org.videolan.android:libvlc-all), both under the GNU LGPL version 2.1 or later, and AndroidX Media3, Jetpack Compose, Kotlin libraries, Ktor, OkHttp, Coil, Koin and Room under the Apache License 2.0.

LibVLC source and written offer
HiPTV uses the unmodified LibVLC 3.6.5 published by VideoLAN; source at LibVLC 3.6.5 and the full LibVLC/VLC sources at VideoLAN's VLC source repository.
For at least three years from the date we last distribute this version of HiPTV, we will provide the complete corresponding source code of LibVLC as used, on request to privacy@hiptv-tv.com, for no more than the cost of physically performing the distribution.
